Founder/CPO®, CPO-CD®

Denise’s two “loves” are organizing and making clients’ home lives easier. She founded Simplify Experts in order to live the mantra, “Do what you love,” and feels lucky that as a professional organizer, she gets to do that every single day. Her dedication created one of the largest, most recognized and credentialed home organizing teams in the Pacific Northwest.

Her passion is to turn “chaos into calm” for people who have experienced chronic disorganization difficulties resulting from neurological, physical, or difficult life transitions. Denise has specialist credentials in Chronic Disorganization, Attention Deficit Disorder and Aging, as well as ten additional certificates of study through the Institute for Challenging Disorganization (ICD). She also is the only certified Chronic Disorganization Specialist (CPO-CD) in the Pacific Northwest. She is one of twenty-two Master Trainers in Chronic Disorganization worldwide.

Her deep commitment to her profession led to serving as a National Board Member, a Marketing Director and a Program Mentor for the ICD and was past President of the Seattle Chapter of the National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO). She appears frequently on news and television programs, including three episodes of A & E’s television series, “Hoarders” and regularly contributes articles and presentations on the subject of organization.

Denise received her B.A. in Political Science from the University of Washington. Her previous professional experience includes managing auctions for non-profits and directing a summer camp for physically disabled children. When she isn’t working, you’ll find her on outdoor adventures with her husband and two college sons, or designing quilts at home.
